Had a challenging day (legs have peripheral neuropothy and I was just tired). I slept all afternoon but we had a good night. Drove around some and had Indian food that was excellent (German food for dinner last night and breakfast/lunch today.
Berlin is very nice and we're going to take a bus tour tomorrow and then drive to Duderstadt (this is the town where the "Klinik" is located) late afternoon on Tuesday. 3 hours according to GPS on my BlackBerry Storm which has been great except for lousy phone reception in the hotel room and running out of battery today.
I couldn't find my charger before we left but we bought a new one tonight. Boy did I go through BlackBerry withdraw today. That won't happen again!
Appointment is on Wednesday at 8:30AM on Wednesday in Duderstadt to harvest my Dendritic Cells. The first injection of the vaccination will be on 1/21 at 1:30PM at Dr. Chang's office in New York and will be administered by one of the doctors from Germany who will bring it over along with those for other patients.
Thanks to ALL who have helped make this possible! It's not likely that I would be having this potentially life saving treatment without the overwhelming support of my many friends and family.
